A little more context would be helpful. Is 'study' used as a noun or a verb here?
Of appears to be far more common than on. I feel no difference in meaning between them.1) we will conduct a study on something
2) we will conduct a study of something
By the way, is there any difference in the usage of the word when it is a noun or a verb?
