Dear all,

Can I use just "stir", "and stir" instead of stirring? and why use "stirring" in the below sentence?

Add egg, vanilla, and milk, stirring until well blended.

I'd use and stir... if you add then stir and stirring if you add and stir at the same time.

:up: This can be very important! If you're translating a recipe, make sure you use whichever word applies; otherwise, you'll cause a lot of disappointments in kitchens throughout your country. ;-)
