Which of the following sentences is acceptable?

1. I love my trip to Danshui. It's a harbor, so there are many boats.
2. I love my trip to Danshui. It has a harbor, so there are many boats staying in the harbor.
3. I love my trip to Danshui, a port city. There are many boats staying in the harbor.
4. I love my trip to Danshui. It's a port city, so there are many boats staying in its harbor.
 
Which of the following sentences is acceptable?

1. I love my trip to Danshui. It's a harbor, so there are many boats. Okay
2. I love my trip to Danshui. It has a harbor, so there are many boats [STRIKE]staying [/STRIKE]in the harbor. Redundant
3. I love my trip to Danshui, a port city. There are many boats [STRIKE]staying [/STRIKE]in the harbor. Okay, once you delete staying.
4. I love my trip to Danshui. It's a port city, so there are many boats [STRIKE]staying [/STRIKE]in its harbor. My favorite of the four, once you delete staying

I think they'd sound more natural in the past.
