I bought a hilarious T-shirt with Freud's portrait and the line: Freud was a special pony. I haven't the foggiest what is so terribly funny about it and why I laugh so silly. Is a special pony a standing expression? Nothing seems to link Freud to ponies, does it? I would like to wear it, but what if I get questions? Or worse: wink-wink-say-no-more looks? Please help me out if you can...

This means nothing to me.

Thank you. What a pity. I was hoping any native English speaker would immediately grasp the clue. Oh well, maybe some insiders' joke...

This means nothing to me.

In the link, the designer of the T-shirt states "Freud was special, let everyone know", so I guess WYSIWYG.
