Hi!
We all know that, especially in Br.E, the auxiliary verb used in the main clause in almost always the one used in the tag.
The question is: When doesn't this occur?

Thanks in advance!

You might find it in speech where the person has moved onto another verb in their thinking and forgotten the main one.

Are there any specific or known special cases with statements?

[off-topic: The likes and thank buttons have disappeared. Is there anything wrong?]

We think the editor is running some software updates. I'm sure the Thank and Like buttons, and the Member Info will be back soon.

There is a software upgrade going on at the moment.
