[Grammar] Speak to/ speak with/ talk to/ talk with?

My teacher told me that 'speak to' is used in British Eng., and Speak with if used in American English. Both, according to him, are equivalent to 'Talk to.'

But is there such phrase like ' talk with.'

All three forms are used in AmE. "Talk with" has a slightly more two-way (or "dialogue") connotation than the other two.
