Here is the change. This means you buy something cost 5 Dollar, you pay with note 10 Dollar, the cashier shall pay you back 5 Dollar.
How about the cashier is forgot to give you back the change. How we duel with them, "Sorry, you haven't pay me back" "Sorry, you haven't give me back the change"
 
"Oy! And the rest!"
"Excuse me, I gave you a ten."
"Excuse me, ... my change?"

You don't have to start with "Sorry". You haven't done anything wrong yet.

It's not a duel. Most people have simply made a mistake.

I think you forgot my change.
