Do factors/aspects work in this sentence? If so, are they interchangeable?

Leadership is a complex skill to master. Therefore, some factors/aspects must be kept in mind, like patience, trustworthiness, and clear communication.

Both could work, but "aspect" sounds better to me.

Also, I'd drop "Therefore".
