If I smell flowers deliberately every day, should I say " I smell flowers every day" or "I am smelling flowers every day"?

When we talk about a habitual action, we use the simple present tense. It's a slightly odd concept though. What do you do if you're somewhere where there aren't any flowers?

Maybe @Vladv1 has a garden. It's a little bit early, I think, for roses to be blooming though.
😊
