[Grammar] Singular or plural ?

I would like to know whether a calling attached to a name, usually in business, is to be treated as singular or plural. For example, would it be
" M. Aftab Furriers invites you to... " or M.Aftab Furriers invite you to..." or, say, " Elphinstone Jewellers requests your ..." or "Elphinstone Jewellers request your...".

Both forms are used, my preference is for "invite" and "request".
