Hi everyone, can anyone tell me if these sentences are both correct and if they are what is the difference between them?

  1. Since he left I’ve been very busy.
  2. Since he has left I’ve been very busy.

Thanks!

2. "Since he has left..." is not correct. In this particular case, "since" presupposes a point in the past and we have to use the past simple.

Anne, please note that a better title would have been Since he left/Since he has left.

Extract from the Posting Guidelines:

'Thread titles should include all or part of the word/phrase being discussed.'
