Hello,

I just saw an article titled as "4 Ways to React When Your Email Keeps Being Ignored" and there is a smaller sentence beneath such title, it writes "want to silence those dreaded inbox crickets?These four strategies can help." I am confused about this sentence in red and really do not know what the authors' mean.

Sorry that's typo, it should be "inbox". What's inbox crickets?

My aunt's incoming email alert is the sound of crickets. I don't know if that's relevant here and it might be a complete coincidence.
