Sentence Guidance Required in terms of structure and Grammar

I request you to guide regarding the below sentence:-

"His father advises him to expose himself to wider array of experiences to grow as an individual."

I feel that there are too many "to" in this sentence,,is there another way to construct it or would you suggest to use it in same way

OK with the correction already given, but you could vary the expression a little by saying 'in order to grow...'
