Hi,

Until this moment, I've only spoken and written as below. However, today I found an interesting word "text".
I've always used it as a noun, but there is also a verb form.

You can easily picture a bus full of teens sending text messages.

Here's my question:

Can I say "texting messages" without changing the meaning?

Thanks in advance.
James

Just say "texting."
It is now a commonly used verb.

Don't text and drive.
He was texting the whole time we were at dinner.
