I'd like to know if hittin' has any special meaning here.

Yes, it means hitting the repeat button of her audio device (no doubt, as a metaphor).
"Hit" in this context means "press inadvertently". "I went to press play, but I hit the pause button."
 
I haven't heard the song, but given the repetitive nature of such teen love songs, I think of the face of it that the line could mean "I intentionally listen over and over and over..."
