Good day, dear teachers:

Can you please help me with a question?

The translated English version of this poem, "The mute brook-side house sees, Them blow and fall in showers.".

Is it the "Them" (Object) or "They" (Subject) a better choice? I am wondering "The mute brook-side house sees they blow and fall in showers.".

Thank you.

"Them", whatever it means (okay, the magnolia trees), is an object of "sees".
Still, the sentence doesn't make much sense. How can the house see, unless it is a personification?
I think it should be "being blown", instead of "blow".

The mute brook-side house sees them being blown all around and fall in showers to the ground.

I guess by "mute" is meant the house doesn't talk. Of course, houses don't really see anything either.

(You can thank me now.)-
