What does "seeing them through" mean in the following context?

When you think of yourself as a teacher, think of drawing out knowledge rather than putting it in. When people arrive at their own conclusions and decisions, they are much more committed to seeing them through than anything you can prescribe for them.

Thank you.

Putting them into practice, implementing them, taking them from start to finish...

Thank you for the help.
