Hello! could you please explain me what's the difference between to see and to observe?

To observe is to follow with your eyes in order to learn something; e.g., she is observing them.
To see is to use your eyes; e.g., he sees them.
To watch involves eye movement; e.g., they are watching the game.
To look involves direction; e.g., we looked at it.
