Suppose I bump into my friend on the street who hasn't seen Sarah for a long time. He asks me about her, and I say the following to him:

Two months ago, Sarah bought a new car. She'd been saving up for months to afford it. Since getting it, she had driven to work every day. A week after the purchase, she took her friends for a ride. They had a great time together exploring the countryside. Sarah had never been so happy with a purchase before. She even planned to go on a road trip, but then she had a car accident in which she crashed her car pretty badly, so she had to scrap it. She hasn't gotten over the accident, but she's generally okay now and is considering buying a new car.

I wrote the text above. I wonder if I used the perfect tenses in bold correctly.
