Hello,

I wonder, what would you think as native speakers if you saw a forearm tattoo that says "ridiculous" or "hilarious"?

I wouldn't think anything of it: I've seen tattoos much more ridiculous and hilarious than that.

Like Rover, I wouldn't bother speculating, even assuming I took the bother to read it.

:) I've got a feeling you find it a little bit weird, dont you?

No - I'm completely ambivalent about it.:-|

I've seen much weirder stuff than that. You'd have to misspell it or use an unusual font to get my attention. ;-)

If it said ridiculous, I'd think exactly that—what a ridiculous tattoo!

Don't do it, Boris. Surely you can think of something better.

Honestly, tattoos are so common in the UK that they just blur into the background. If someone did this on their face, they might get a reaction - though probably small - but not on forearms.

I've never see a tattoo that didn't look ridiculous...
