Dear Native Speakers,

Below is a sentence I'd like you to read out and comment on which is correct in terms of the position of the pause.

A. One reason is [pause] that you don't take notes carefully while listening to your teacher.
B. One reason is that [pause] you don't take notes carefully while listening to your teacher.

Below is a sentence I'd like you to read out and comment on which is correct in terms of the position of the pause.

A. One reason is [pause] that you don't take notes carefully while listening to your teacher.
B. One reason is that [pause] you don't take notes carefully while listening to your teacher.
I'd pause briefly after "reason" before "is" - if I paused at all.
