Would you be kind enough to revise the folloing sentences?
Now Lyman was breakfasting in the small white-panelled family dining-room downstairs, and the most pressing problem on his mind was how to teach those people in the kitchen to loosen the segments of a gratefruit before serving it.
Using a small paring knife, loosen grapefruit segments in each half by cutting closley between the fruit and peel, then by cutting closely next to membranes to free segments; leave segments in place.
Jack was eating a gratefruit. When he’d find a seed he’d spit it out in the spoon and dump it on the plate.
He could watch the fluid grace of her hands, pale and soft but wonderfully skilful, snipping small springs of grapes from the enormous bunch with a jewelled scissore, taking up one of the ivory-handled knives and peeling a pear, round and round, so that the skin came off all in one peace.
He peeled an aple, the peel- fine spiral, tissue paper thin.
