Hi,

Rest assured, the problem has been entirely resolved and we've taken steps to ensure it won't happen again.

What does "rest assured" mean?

Does it mean "Don't worry"?

IMO, yes. It can have other minute implications depending on the context, I'd say. And I would also say it's somewhat formal.
 
:up: It can also mean 'There is no need for concern' (not exactly the same, but pretty close). A common framework for this expression is 'You can rest assured that...[e.g. the police are dealing with this situation]'

Can the phrase "rest assured" also be interpreted as:
"I/We assure you that there's no problem..." or
"You can be sure that there's no problem..."?
