Hi friends,

Pl. proofread the below note......

Cheers
Rasna

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I would like to bring to your notice that I had taken up the B.E. (Electronics) and admitted in University Visweshwaraiah College of Engineering, Bangalore under Lateral Entry Scheme for the year 2008-09. The course is for 3 years in the evening and the college timings is between 5.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m.

In light of this, I would request you to kindly the change my office timings from 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. (currently 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.). I can commit that this change will not affect to the organisation and if it is of any emergency I am available to your service round-the-clock.

I earnestly request you to change my office timings and would be greatly obliged to the Safal Market management because this helps me to grow personally & professionally.

Say:
office hours

It found it strange too but apparently, that's what 'office hours' is called in India - office timing. :)
Another forummer, rsj, explained that previously.

No need to repeat yourself. (Shouldn't it be "timings are"?)

Yeah, we should say it, just as a formality.....
