What do you mean Mike? I didn't follow you. If you mean the content would suffice to describe the feature of that book, then how can we recognize the authenticity of the content? This is my question. Suppose I'm non-native speakers and I don't have much experience same as you.

Think of half a dozen problems in English, and see how each book deals with them. If the answers to your questions are easy to find and helpful, then the book is probably useful for you.

One book that many students, and teachers, have found very helpful is 'Practical English Usage' by Michael Swan

The "English Grammar in Use" set by Raymond Murphy is also well-liked.

The subject of the verb helps is Using the same words/points
