Is the following sentence correct?

During our conversation, she did not refer to her being on leave.
(In the above sentence, I meant to say - She did not mention to me that she was on leave.)
 
No, use your second version. Why do you want to express it differently as you did in your first version?
 
More likely: "She did not mention that she was on leave." Or: "She didn't tell me she was on leave."
