Hello!
Should I use recording or recorded in the sentence below.
Which is correct?
Thank you ~

[Recording or Recorded] in May, the group’s first release since 1985 is going to include some of The Neighbors’ previous hits along with brand new material.

I assume this was recorded in the past, so "recorded".

Thank You, Mike~ Can I ask one more question?

I put one more sentence~
Recording will happen in the near future.

[Recording or Recorded] in May, the group’s first release since 1985 is going to include some of The Neighbors’ previous hits along with brand new material.
Lead singer for The Neighbors, Leah Rainier, said the new songs will feature the unique sounds of 1970s pop music.

If "recording" is correct in the blank,

does "Recording in May, the group’s first release since 1985 is" come from

The group's first release [which is recording in May] since 1985 ~

I always feel appreciative of your kind and prompt answers.

So Young^^

If the recording has not yet happened, then "will be recorded in May" or "to be recorded in May" is correct.
