1. The two brothers help each other.
2. The three brothers help one another.

Is it correct to use "each other" in sentence 2?

Thanks.

Yes, it is.

If your title had been each other/one another it would have led to these similar threads.

1. Is the following sentence natural?

A & B are good friends. They like talking to each other on the phone.

2. Lisa and May hate each other's husbands.
Is it correct to use 'their' instead of 'each other's ' in the above sentence?

Thanks.

Lisa and May hate each other's husbands. - Lisa hates May's husband and May hates Lisa's husband.

Lisa and May hate their husbands. - Each woman hates her own husband.

What is the purpose of the apostrophe that comes between the word hate and s, please?
