"Recharge myself" and "charge my energy"

Would a native speaker ever say "I need to have a rest to recharge myself" or "charge my energy" to mean that they need a rest in order to gain more/new energy, before they are able to work again.
 
Neither option works. They might say they need to recharge their batteries or simply to recharge.
