Dear teachers,

Would you be kind enough to tell me whether I am right with my interpretation of the expression in bold in the following sentence?

I have heard many unlikely rattling good yarns in my long life.

rattling (adj.) = used as intensifiers; 'real' is sometimes used informally for 'really'; 'rattling' is informal

rattling good yarn = fascinating tale

Thank you for your efforts.

Regards,

V.
