a. Rapidly, the problem was solved.

b. Gladly, he was given a new job.

Are the above sentences grammatically correct?

I think (b) could mean he was glad to be given a new job.

I wonder if
c. He was gladly given a new job.

could have that meaning.

Are the above sentences grammatically correct?
Yes, but neither sounds very natural.

I think (b) could mean he was glad to be given a new job.
No. I'd take it to mean the person who gave him the job was glad to do so.

I wonder if
c. He was gladly given a new job.

could have that meaning.
Are you asking if "gladly" here describes "he"? No, it doesn't. It applies to the person who gave him the job. He may have gladly accepted the job however.

Where did you find these sentences? Please don't make up your own sentences and then ask us what you mean. Find some clear and natural examples to work with.

Are the above sentences grammatically correct?

Yes, but I'm pretty sure you're not really asking anything about grammar. This is primarily about the meaning/use of adverbs.

If you're trying to work on adverb placement, make sure you understand the adverb types first (comment adverb, adverb of manner, etc.)
