Please help:
Which of the following is correct?
a) An abundance of food and drinks is prepared.
b) An abundance of food and drinks are prepared.
c) An amount of food and drinks is prepared.
d) A number of food and drinks are prepared.
e) A large quantity of food and drinks is prepared.
f) Plenty of food and drinks is prepared.
g) Plenty of food and drinks are prepared.
h) Lots of food and drinks is prepared.
i) Lots of food and drinks are prepared.

I just can't discern the proper quantifiers with their correspondant verbs.
Thanks for your time.

I wouldn't use any of them. I suggest, "An abundance/amount/a large quantity/plenty of food and drink has been prepared".
