Hi All,

I am interested in joining a company. I sent to its CEO but he recently left before taking a decision of hiring me. I would like to send to the new CEO to give him a brief and ask him to take a decision of this sort.

Can I say the following:

"I would like to put you in the picture and give you a brief about the story"

I think you have to send in your job application afresh. You probably have not been called for an interview. I don't think your previous application counts.

You want to bring the new CEO up to date on the situation. The situation is that they offered you a job, but you turned it down because it wasn't the job you wanted.

You can't make them do what you want them to do.
