Is there a word that means both natural psychoactive compounds such as tea and coffee and perilous psychoactive compounds such as cannabis and drugs. I don't know if the term "psychoactive compounds" can refer to natural caffeine drinks as I mentioned above.
 
Remember that cannabis can be psychoactive in a perfectly 'natural' form. Whether a drug is classed as illicit has little or no connection with how natural it is, or with the relative potential dangers of consumption.

So yes, 'psychoactive compounds' or 'psychoactive substances' covers both coffee and cannabis.
