We had all heard of "pros and cons" before, but it is pretty boring to keep using it over and over again!:-(

So I tried to used something new but I found myself stuck!

If "benefits" is to "pros", then what
word would best suit "cons"?

Thanks for the help
:)

In economic and financial contexts, costs are the opposite of benefits. That's why people do cost-benefit analyses.

But I am at a loss to understand your objection to "pros and cons". It is an extremely ancient, entrenched and useful phrase, coming from the Latin prepositions pro (for) and con (against.)

"Pros" are positives: things, outcomes, effects, etc.
"Cons" are negatives: things, outcomes, effects, etc.

Disadvantages.
