please can you advise on the following? Which is correct/better?

I have sent you a letter. Did you receive it?
or
I have sent you a letter. Have you received it?
Or both?

How much am I supposed to pay?
or
How much am I to pay?
Or both?

I would say both are ok but "Have you" is possibly slightly better.


How much am I supposed to pay?
or
How much am I to pay?
Or both?

Both are fine.
