[Grammar] Present Perfect Continuous vs Peresent Perfect Tenses

I have been studying grammar online in order to fill some gaps of my grammar knowledge.

I haven't figured out why "have always had" is the correct answer for the fill-in-the-blank question.:roll:

I have always had ( always have) trouble with by engine these days.

Shouldn't it be "have always been having", considering, it is not seem that the trouble is solved instead continuing to happen.

Neither "have always had" nor "have always been having" work with "these days". "These days" suggests a habitual event or action so it should be "I always have trouble with my engine these days" or "I'm always having trouble with my engine these days". Only the present simple or present continuous work with "these days".
