I am afraid I would misunderstand the following sentence, could you please cleary and simply explain it to me? Thanks.

"You never admit to being at a more advanced stage with another application"

I'm new to this forrum, an im by no means a expert or anything more than a beginner.

I would imagine your sentence means; "You do not admit that you are better using another application"......??
 
Yes; it means that you don't say you know how to use a different application better. What was the context you saw this in?
