Please Help with sentence correction

When NASA announced that they also required a software that would manage their space operations, Timmy and his team had to identify one such product that would fit into our solution as quickly as possible.

It seems to me that the sentence is saying that the "Product should fit into the solution as soon as possible", however the intent is - "to identify a product as soon as possible"

Can you please help me in correcting the sentence.

Just turn it around. Move "as quickly as possible" to the phrase you want it to refer to:
