Sometimes I found it hard to get everything in class, would you mind writing the important terms that do not appear on notes but you are going through with us on the white board? Also, I would like to confirm whether the materials quizzed will also be examined on the coming midterms?

Can someone help me correct the email above? I am afraid that my professor cannot get my meaning.:-|

Here's my suggested version. However, it's only a suggestion. Please don't just copy and paste it and send it to your teacher. If you do, I think your teacher will realise that you didn't write it yourself.

"Sometimes, I find it difficult to make a note of everything you teach us in class. If there are important terms you teach, but which are not covered in the class notes, would it be possible for you to write those terms on the whiteboard? Also, would you be prepared to tell us which areas and subjects will be covered in the forthcoming midterms?"
