You should have noticed that the Internet Link and Telephone are still up during the 1hr break time without electricity. This is because we recently replaced the batteries of the 3.0KVA UPS in IT Office.

In order to let the batteries last longer than expected, we must not leave it on for more than 15 minutes after 5pm without electricity. The 15minutes is to allow you round off your work online and email.

And the UPS should not be switched on without electricity except if it is out of necessity and the order must come from any of the management staff, and usage should not exceed 30 minutes.

It’s believed that we would all adhere to this instructions.
