Currently I've been doing a project of translating Taiwanese food names into English. It is hard for me because I know my translations should not be based only on whether grammar is correct, but more importantly on how the native speakers say the following food names.
A. the lung of a pig eaten as food: (1. pig lung, 2. pig lungs, 3. pig's lung, 4. pig's lungs, 5. pork lung, 6. pork lungs)
B. the intestine of a pig eaten as food: (1. pig intestine, 2. pig intestines, 3. pig's intestine, 4. pig's intestines, 5. pork intestine, 6. pork intestines, 7. pork chitterlings, 8. chitterlings)
I need language experts' help. Thank you so much.
