Have I made any mistakes?

Pianist George Hill had been hailed as a genius at the beginning of his career, but thirty years later, many critics contend that his late performances do not measure up. They reproach him for taking too much freedom interpreting pieces of great composers and thus distorting their compositions. They believe that George wanted to be original at any price, which led him to extremes.
