If I provided photos for somebody's news articles, then would I say I should get "photo credit" or "a photo credit" for the photos?

I would say, "I should be credited (or 'given credit' for the photos."

I am not a fan of google for resolving language questions, but COCA was no help. Of the 20 COCA citations for 'photo credit' there was only one with 'get' - and that was '...gets the photo credit'.

I got 175,000 google hit for "get photo credit", and 103,000 for "get a photo credit", so it seems both are used.
