What is the difference between Phonology and Phonetics?
I think phonetics is the study of sounds of all languages while Phonology is the study of sounds of a particular language, is this correct? Is there anything else? I googled and found many results but couldn't understand them, I really need small notes not long articles.
Notice: This is not homework I am not an English student..

Thanks :-D

Phonetics is the discipline, each language has its phonology or set of sounds.

I think phonetics is the study of pronunciation, while phonology is the study of the sound of a particular language. Phonology has another definition that is the set of sounds of a language like konungursvia said.
