Dear professor XXX,<br>I am writing this letter in order to demonstrate my interest in the PhD position in mathematical machine learning at your research lab.<br><br><br>I am very passionate about machine learning. My particular interest is designing and analyzing new machine learning algorithms. In fact, I developed strong skills in machine learning. I did some relevant courses such as optimization, machine learning and python programming. Furthermore, I completed some specialization courses on coursera website. I have acquired good knowledge of deep learning, machine learning and natural language processing. I have also taken part to the machine learning competition organized at the Université Paris-Dauphine in February 2020. I was finalist. <br><br>I did an internship in data science in june 2020. I have worked on machine learning approaches for preserving data privacy. I have focused my activities on the federated learning which is used for dealing sensitive data. It is a distributed optimization method. In may 2019, I realized an internship in image processing in a research lab. My activities are about exploring variationnal approach for deblurring images. Therefore, I have experience research. Moreover, by doing many projects in machine learning and image processing, I developed strong programming skills. I often use packages for machine learning.<br><br>This PhD position is an opportunity for me to deepen my knowledge. Working in your reseach lab is interesting and stimulant. Getting a PhD degree will be an accomplishment of my willness. I really want to work as a research.
