Have I made any mistakes?

Paul believed he had been living in paradise until one day he returned home unexpectedly and found his wife in the arms of another man. He had never been so furious in his life, but managed to control himself. He didn't want to spend years in prison for a double murder and left the home without saying a word. He rented a hotel room for two days and went back with a removal van to collect his things. Ten years of his life were washed down the drain.

One comma is essential: He didn't want to spend years in prison for a double murder, and left home without saying a word. Well done!
