Hi,
i am learning English.I have a problem regarding Past Tense.
What is the difference between below mentioned below sentences.What is the correct place to use these two sentences.

1- i did see a movie yesterday.
2 - i saw a movie yesterday.

The second is just a statement of fact. In the first "did" acts to to emphasize the action. It would usually be used to follow another thought.
I hardly ever go to the cinema, bit I did see a movie yesterday.

I am learning English.[space]I have a problem regarding the past tense. (Tenses are not capitalised.)

What is the difference between the following sentences? What is the correct place to use these two sentences?

1-I did see a movie yesterday.
2 - I saw a movie yesterday.
