"I don't want to hear you playing your flip." Does that mean "I don't want to listen to an excuse you are c going to come up with"?

He was talking to his son on the phone asking him if the mother was home. Suppose his son didn't know or was coming up with a wrong conclusion.

Could he have meant that he felt as if he was listening to the record for the second time?
 
Could it possibly have been "I don't wanna hear none of your lip?"

A non-standard way to say "Just answer the question and don't backtalk."
