Dear teachers,

Tom wants to change his job suddenly.
Is it also correct if I change the sentences in this way:

1. Tom out of a sudden wants to change his job.
2. It surprised us because of Tom out of sudden in changing his job.
(I am not sure whether I should add the preposition 'in' after out of sudden insentence 2.)

Please help teachers.

Thank you.

Kitty

"all of a sudden" is the expression. No, "in" is not correct.
